Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2565 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte held its 2nd annual Oktoberfest November 7^th.

Over 2000 people attended and we greeted people from Port Charlotte, Charlotte Harbor, North Port, Englewood, Punta Gorda and the surrounding areas.

We would like to thank all who attended and participated in this fun event. 

There was Oompa music under the big tent with polka dancing all day, kinder games, craft tables, a bake sale, raffles, a cake walk and a great white elephant extravaganza and bingo. Visitors enjoyed delicious German food prepared under the supervision of our own chefs extraordinaire, Charles Reinl and Connie Wuckert. 

This was a time of fun and laughter for the whole family and we are already planning our next Oktoberfest which will be held the 1st Saturday of November 2010 and hopefully everyone can join us for a day of feasting and enjoyment.
